ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of a dream I once had -- it was a sound, really, of the actual Buddy Bolden playing his trumpet, the unmistakable, pure, obnoxious framework of the blues. I may be perhaps the only living person to have heard Buddy Bolden play. And it was in a dream. And he was a dragon.
